My sister Camilla got married. This is my family. I don't get to see them more than the once a year I go for a visit. I''m really thankful I was able to see them before I left for Muscat. Just missing our Roper cousins in this picture! It was hot and these guys were uber patient waiting for the wedding dress with the new zipper to be delivered so Camilla could come out married! Getting ready for the reception was a big job. No, I mean REALLY BIG! Nothing this team couldn't handle with the help of the Westhoffs. We might need kittens. She had eyes only for Camilla's kittens for 2 days. We got some fun cousin time in while we were there. And even managed to see some favorite people who were in Bear Lake for the week.

You know I have no pictures from these grueling days other than the blissful fun with friends that my girls were able to enjoy while I was home. It wasn't pretty on my end but there was a peace I enjoyed knowing my girls were being distracted from leaving their friends, their home and almost everything they know. We'll be embarking on something so foreign including public school. Instead of facing that as movers packed our things into storage, they were enjoying time with friends, and Girl's camp. What a blessing! The girls found some new game here in our backyard that had them laughing so hard I could hear them inside. We will miss trees green and the best neighbors in the whole world. Alena got to go to two girl's camps this year. She went with our ward who did a fabulous job putting on some day camps. She had to miss that overnighter to join with Sterling ward buddies for a two day day camp at the end of the week.

My kids and I have made the best friends while we were here in NoVa. It's been a little heart wrenching to say good-bye. Thankfully it was packed full of friend time so that the girls hardly even had time to notice that we were saying good-bye. I will forever be thankful for the women and men who made all this possible. You will each be missed and I can only anticipate when next our paths cross.
