Eli's getting to meet lots of people and eat with them.


Lucca is having mission-wide meetings.
And food that makes him smile.
And Eli is dressing up which isn't his favorite.

A Polish Anniversary pt1

These caricatures from the safety video of Fly Dubai cracked me up. Best safety video ever.  I think it was the beginning of the year searching up Andrea Bocelli concerts that I discovered a concert on our 25th anniversary. Poland was a new country so it didn't take a lot of convincing for Matt to take me. I did NOT realize it would mean missing the first day of school but thanks to Eli's generous presence at home we left them all in good hands. My Mom sent me such a thoughtful package and included an autobiography of Andrea Bocelli that she was reading that I didn't realize existed. I'd fallen in love with his voice and now I was able to learn more about his life and his thoughts.  Welcome to the Warsaw Airport Marriott. The kind of airport hotel that's across the airport pickup road and is attached to the airport parking. Sam's Date and the First Day of School

Ashley set up a group date and was very kind to include Samuel. He had a great time.   They played Ultimate, learned a dance, and had a picnic. Samuel had a great time. Beautiful family. I think it's going to be a great year!! Mrs. Cabaluna's 5th grade superstars! 2nd grade is the best!!! Jill and I took that day to hike Sidab. It was the perfect way to kick off a school year. We loved exploring the water, being reunited with the fist and also meet these lovely purple jellies.

Wadi BC

Samuel led me and two friends on a scramble up into a very dynamic Wadi. He had gone here before with friends and we appreciated his experience. I don't know if they quite knew what they were getting into but after we finished and no one had rolled an ankle I think everyone had a great experience. You just can't help feeling like you're in a giant's playground. These 50 ton boulders just tell a story of where water has been and the power that smoothed and carved out these caverns and crack. It's rather humbling actually. Omanosaura, jayakari were active here.  The wadi ended for us at a cave complete with bats. It's quite a scramble to ascend up it and Samuel was the only one to do it but I'm actually wanting to go back and try again, maybe when it's a little cooler. We love Sam's extra watchful eyes pointing out what we never would've noticed. Spotting Samuel after he came down from the cave. I'm always amazed at Trees that grow to this size...
