Goats, and Donkeys and Camels Oh MY!

There's a holiday coming up, Eid-al-Adah, to commemorate the Sacrifice of Ishmael by Abraham. My first time hearing the story that way.  Anyway, they sacrifice a goat. I think the goats heard about this because they're on their way outta town and even up to the tippy top of the mountains.(apparently many of these pictures are actually sheep but the ones in the 3rd picture all the way up the mountain are indeed goats.)

My first time coming out after getting sick as well. The family wanted a trip to the beach. Charu's Beach, when it wasn't quite so windy would be an ideal snorkeling beach. As it was, we saw puffer fish, stripey fish, anemone and tiny lobsters. But the water was choppy, the rocks were sharp, and blood was flowing. I was glad to see a muslim woman in the water when we arrived. They go in with all the wraps on. I see so few women in the water so I'm always wishing I could just tell them "Thank you for going swimming with your family". I don't like my family being the lone women swimmers. Alena doesn't like warm water that she can't see to the bottom of so even she stayed out of the water. It was hot and I stepped on a pufferfish skeletal piece that had to be plucked out of my foot, but it was really good to get out and get wet.  On the way out we laughed at this little dust bath happening. Not pictures but also out for viewing were several camels and plenty of cats. I haven't gotten up the nerve to snap people photos but I really wanted to get a few shots of the fishermen there untangling their lines. They offered us a ride on their boats but we declined for today.
