Sunsets in the Surf
Sunset happens a little after 6pm here. I'm hoping these evenings don't get much shorter as winter approaches. I do love being on the shore during a sunset though. We joined friends for a picnic and some badminton.
We had a lovely time, for about an hour. Elise was playing in the water with Matt and myself while Brigham dove around for shells and crabs. Then after wrestling for the tube with Brigham, things unwound quickly. School is something she loves but we need to work toward helping her unwind and this didn't do it for her. She reverted back to the uncontrollable toddler tantrums. So, we went home sad. I have spent the last couple of days working toward helping with that. Getting to bed earlier, snuggling a lot. One on one time with either reading playing games or making banana bread and other things. She loves school, she looks forward to it, but I just can't bare to see her wound so tightly.
