Way 2128

The Embassy Folks here have been lovely. They gather and they come together for friendship and support. Many of these people have lived in 6+countries, speak at least 3 languages and they know how to make friends into family. This year in Muscat there are many families with multiple children, 4,5,6 and of course then there's us.  The Oasis Club is Federal Property where we can make our own rules. Well, a generous we, Americans. So, they sell alcohol and we can make our own rules about masks and gathering. They have Thursday night specials like Taco Thursday or Pasta or Steak is the latest. We have gone a few times to get initiated into the groups. 

We met our neighbors there recently for a Street Meet and Greet. I have to say that I was incredibly happy to meet our neighbors who live on Way 2128. Some of the nicest families. I would love to meet up with them anytime. The kids all played so nicely together and although most of them already knew each other, our family enjoyed meeting everyone else immensely.

Mel put together an ice breaker game which was fun. I think because most of them work together and most of our kids go to school together, we just used it for more fun and mostly didn't need the ice broken.
