Dubai World Expo pt 2
These all loaded differently than I thought and are now arranged backwards chronologically but that's not important. This is the end of the Germany Pavilion. It's an interactive swing exhibit about working together. As we all moved our swings the lights and the balloons moved and changed. Elise and I were on a double swing and had a lot of fun. Germany gives out electronic name cards that know where you're from so when you approach an exhibit it knows what language to use as well as your name.
The end of the Israel exhibit was cool The inside was a kind of each person has their own beat but we're better together idea, making music as a group.
AS the morning progressed, the lines grew longer and everyone's backs and feet got weary.
This was the Kazakstan exhibit. They did a lovely job combining the history of their culture, how it applies to the world and our history and where we're going in the future. We enjoyed it.
This is Kazakhstan's Golden Man that was unearthed. The Eurasian Steppe and the archeology they've done there is foundational to what we know about our earliest dated relics.
This boy loves sushi. I love having my girls enjoy new foods so it was a win. Alena was struggling and so was Matt's pocketbook so we all went away a little hungry.
Good ol' US of A. Their exhibit was ok. Nothing too memorable. The kids liked touching the moon rock, I thought it was a nice touch to include Jefferson's copy of the Quran.
