Compilation Post

"The Rest of the sTory" as Paul Harvey says. I got stung at Wadi Howar. It did sit well with me apparently. I ended up going to the Pharmacy acting on the advice of Mk and finally, what was it? 5 days later, it started clearing up. It was so swollen and so itchy.
Elise took this picture on the sly of a lovely dinner we had with our friends. I wish we had a more posed picture or something that captures the charming ambiance of their home but I'm glad we can remember even if it from Elise playing candy crush on the couch because she was tired and badly behaved.

Sennia had a wonderful playdate with her classmate from Japan. Her sweet Mom made homemade sushi for them.
Mk brought the family 2Kilos of Egyptian cookies to celebrate the end of Ramadan. We enjoyed them not as long as we should have😋
I sure love these boys. What a treat to talk to them at the same time.
I went on a hike to find Sa-al cave with two friends. We did hike, but we missed the cave. It was so hot and frustrating I didn't even bother to take pictures.
Samuel and Matt have really been enjoying Wednesday night Ultimate Frisbee. Matt was gone for this tournament but Sam got a ride from our neighbor and had an amazing time. He's even hoping to get in on some Ultimate frisbee action at BYU.

Our fun dinner group was a little smaller than normal due to some last minute cancelations, but it was still a really lovely Iftar dinner at the Cave.
All of this should say, there are really lovely people that we interact with all the time. Life is never perfect and often a struggle and there are all sorts of tears that still happen in our family. The kids still fight unfortunately. The get their feelings hurt. They need down time and snuggle time and all sorts of additional things. But, we get through it the best we can just as we always have done and we try hard to remember to be grateful and pass along everything we possibly can to bless others.
