Diocletian's Palace
We slept hard that night and also had some adventures hanging laundry from the outside balcony. Finally we got everything packed up and headed to the Palace. These Cathedral doors were my very favorite thing and we went there first. Each square depicts an episode in the life of Christ. Here's an article about the doors.
Next up was the bell tower. I wasn't sure I could sell anymore stairs but Elise didn't want to miss out so everyone got to go. She was a champ too, the stone portion of the stairs were as all as her legs.
This is St. John the Baptist in a converted Temple to Zues or maybe Jupiter. I cant remember. It became the baptistry during the 7th century AD.
The treasury had some beautiful objects and pieces of art.
