Doing Our Part

I read about a Dhow Boat carrying a massive amount of detergent that sunk spilling all its cargo into the ocean. 2 weeks later it began washing up all over the shores of Muscat since no one bothered cleaning it up right away.
Brigham and I wanted to help so we signed up to go out on a boat to Daymaniyat Island and snorkel and clean beaches with Sea Oman.

We were a small, last minute group with a German Business guy, a Ukrainian looking for work, and an Arab Instagram Influencer.

These bags weighed a ton-like 2-300#s. It was definitely a group effort.

The diving-snorkeling part was definitely his favorite. I loved getting to know the people and of course I'm a sucker for a heavy duty project.

Daymaniyat are truly some of the most beautiful islands in the world as far as water and animal life. There are so many beautiful shells attesting to this.

Great Mommy-Briggle Date. But we were INCREDIBLY sore the next few days. It didn't feel like such hard work at the time. We honestly were having a great time. It was most apparent the next day however.
