Independence Day was a bit of a bust. Matt went to work, we went bowling. That night I wanted to do something with my kids that felt remotely American. Brigham and Sam were at an activity, Matt and Eli were at an Embassy Event, the girls and I made apple pie and watched National Treasure. It was pretty nice. Apple pie with Frankincense ice cream.
He's still struggling with feeling withdraw from friends and routine. I suggest different things and he may or may not be interested. This is his most recent creation, a Dhow Boat. He did a good job.
Kids have really gotten into bowling lately. We tried using bumpers for the first time since the other friends were. Brigham and Sennia didn't appreciate it and felt like they were cheating. Elise was convinced.
I think Sennia is starting to feel anxious about her gymnastics camp. She had me look at some videos and we had our own practice at home. She's gotten good at headstands!
